About.

What we do

Exile Entertainment is an independent Film & TV studio that finances, produces and distributes distinctive work.

Our approach is simple: we form creative partnerships with talented and driven filmmakers to create work that challenges the status quo.

We trust our partners with their creative vision and in turn, they trust us to take care of business. It’s the perfect synergy between art and commerce.

Our Achievements

Our clients are fast becoming some of the most talented filmmakers in the world and our greatest achievement is that we have helped them launch their filmmaking careers.

We’ve also had films: premiere at major festivals like Venice, MIFF & Clermont-Ferrand; receive nominations for major awards including 3 AACTA nominations; be acquired by major streaming platforms like Netflix; and be released in territories like the US, UK, China, Canada, Australia & New Zealand.

Meet the Team

ALEXANDROS OUZAS

Alexandros founded Exile Entertainment in 2015 with the purpose of creating a Film & TV company that would support filmmakers to push the boundaries of creativity.

Since then, he has built one of Australia’s leading independent Film & TV companies behind critically acclaimed feature film West of Sunshine, provocative films like Gaspar Noe’s Love and documentaries tackling dangerous subject matter like Green Light.

Whilst his strength lies in navigating the international finance and distribution landscape, it is his close relationship with the creatives that he works with that is the backbone of the company’s success.

TESSA

Tessa is a skilled practitioner with a Bachelor in Film and Digital Media who has been producing and delivering works across short and feature film, music video, commercials, television and theatre projection art for the last 6 years.

She has previously been selected for industry career development attachments, been nominated for ARIA awards and her short films have been programmed by major Australian film festivals (MIFF, Flickerfest, Sydney Indie Film Fest).

Her passion for storytelling through visual expression coexists with her mission to champion unique voices that push for inclusivity and intersectionality.
