STRAIGHT UP is an unconventional dramedy that explores the intimate relationships of marginalised neighbours as they run an illegal drug empire. Carlos (20’s) and Tash (20’s) , two separately orphaned deadbeats in their mid-twenties, find themselves inheriting a vast drug supply after a police raid wipes out the local dealers. Seizing the opportunity to get the fuck out of generational poverty, they rope in their neighbours and younger siblings to help run an unconventional drug empire – to hilarious effect.
